Thiago Alencar was born on July 7, 1986 in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Coming from a family of musicians, Thiago proved to be musically inclined at a very young age. He got his first acoustic guitar at the age of 7, with which he would jam to riffs and tunes his father, also a guitarist, would teach him. At the age of 13, Thiago got his first electric guitar and immersed himself into rock music, motivating him to take up music lessons from his pseudo-uncle; a very experienced jazz musician. Dedicating over 10 years to music studies, Thiago got involved with many projects and many different bands in his hometown, ranging from cover/tribute bands to writing original material. Some of these projects enjoyed moderated local success, leading him to perform gigs in other cities and states of Brazil.

Currently, Thiago started out his solo project entitled ‘ALENcarTrip’, which led to the recording of the single ‘Let Me Guide You’; an up-tempo folk/rock tune with catchy melodic lines.

Thiago is now working on his debut album, which will be called ‘ALENcarTrip’.
