O lado luminoso do reggae...
..Baseada na mensagem básica passada por Bob Marley, sacerdote supremo e imbatível do reggae, lá nos anos 70. Entre os novos nomes que surgiram para ratificar a posição do reggae como um dos gêneros favoritos entre toda uma nova geração, está a Solarise. O nome da banda revela o que eles realmente são.

Assim como o reggae explícito que eles fazem, seus versos falam daquele lado swingante do ritmo surgido na Jamaica. E se alguém disser que reggae lembra praia e que Porto Alegre não tem praia, é porque não sabe nada da zona sul da capital gaúcha, onde surgiu a Solarise. É lá que se tem a melhor visão do clássico e fantástico por-do-sol porto-alegrense. Com um cartão postal como este, não é de admirar que a Solarise faça um reggae tão luminoso como pode ser comprovado nas 12 faixas do disco de estréia da banda, lançado em 2004 pela Antídoto, com o single ?BOM DIA SOL?, sendo executado em varias rádios do Brasil e até mesmo fora país.

Mas não espere amenidade total no som da Solarise. Afinal, mesmo sendo grande fã do reggae de raiz e faça versos voltados para a grande curtição que é a natureza, a banda é capaz de pesar a mão ao concretizar um reggae consistente. Afinal não é a toa que, além dos grandes heróis do reggae como influências principais, eles canalizam num mesmo ritmo todas as vertentes de seus seis integrantes.

E é por essa pulsação pesada de baixo, teclados, percussão, metais, bateria e guitarras consistentes, que a Solarise conquista os ouvidos e os quadris da moçada. A banda começou quase como uma brincadeira de amigos em meados de 2001 e desde então, eles não pararam mais de compor. O resultado disso? Aí vem o segundo disco dessa rapaziada! Dessa vez gravado no Rio de Janeiro com produção de Juliano Cortuah. Afinal, como eles mesmos admitem, de forma simples, sem ?fazeção? ou pose, desde que acabaram de gravar o primeiro ?já surgiram tantas músicas novas que um segundo filho não estaria fora de cogitação?.

O resultado disso está aí, representado pelo disco Traço do Tempo! Que tem previsão de lançamento para final de 2009, mas já estréia nas telas dos cinemas do país com o filme Casa da Mãe Joana, comédia de Hugo Carvana, com Pedro Cardoso, Juliana Paes, Malu Mader, Paulo Betti, José Wilker e grande elenco... Com o single: ?DEUS ILUMINE?, que já começou a encantar a todos!!!

The luminous side of reggae%u2026

Some time ago were the rock bands: they appeared from everywhere in Porto Alegre. Later, something different started to happen: reggae bands started to appear from all parts of the country, and, besides of what could be expected, this reggae expansion did not damaged it, but helped to sediment and reinforce a movement.

One of the new names that showed up to ratify the reggae position as one of the favorite kinds of music for a hole new generation is Solarise. The band%u2019s name reveals what they really are.

Just like the real reggae they make, their song%u2019s lyrics talk about the swing side of the rhythm appeared in Jamaica. And if someone says that reggae reminds them of the beach and that Porto Alegre doesn%u2019t have it, it is because they don%u2019t know anything about the south zone of the city, where Solarise was created. There we can find the best sight of the city%u2019s classic and fantastic sunset. With a place like this, the fact that Solarise makes such a luminous reggae is not surprising, witch can be proved by the band%u2019s first album released in 2004 by Antídoto records.

But don%u2019t wait for total amenity from Solarise%u2019s sound. The band is capable of producing hard sound and hard lyrics, creating consistent reggae. Therefore, besides the great names in the industry, the band%u2019s extensive list of influences starts in the 70%u2019s, when every single note and every single word meant a new revolution.

And it is because the pulsation of the bass and drums and because of the consistent guitars that Solarise wins youth%u2019s ears and humps, just as proved in their concerts, since their started in 2001. Since then, they didn%u2019t stop composing. It became the band%u2019s new work, this time recorded and mixed in Rio de Janeiro, with Juliano Cortuah%u2019s production. After all, just as they simply and honestly admit, since they finished recording their first album, so many news inspirations had already appeared that a new creation was to be expected.

The result of all this work is there! Very well represented by the album Traço do Tempo, that has release date expected to the second semester of 2008.
Now, we should watch out and don%u2019t become addicted to these ten new tracks totally lightened from Solarise.
