Formed in november/1998 by member formers Fawster Teles (Guitar), Kelson Lauda (Drums), Adail Marx (Bass), Evaldo Conan (Vocals), the meaning of the name "Zorates" comes from the portuguese dictionary and means "crazy", "insane", "madman".

Influenced at first by bands such Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Slayer, Destruction, Dorsal Atlantica, Sepultura, Sarcofago, Zorates makes a simple Death / Thrash / Hardcore music.

Zorates has released some stuff along the time such Vergasta (2000/2001), Rehearsal Takes (2002), Spiritus Zoratus (2003), Grotesque (2004 - Unreleased officialy) and for more information get in touch through the following links:
